Effective January 1, 2018

The Board of Building Regulations and Standards (BBRS) recently approved certain changes to construction supervisor license continuing education requirements as part of the Ninth Edition of the State Building Code (780 CMR). The changes will go into effect January 1, 2018.

New Continuing Education Requirements (Effective: January 1, 2018):

Licensees may acquire up to a maximum of six hours of continuing education via on-line training. Remaining hours shall be acquired through in-person, classroom training. CSSL may complete all six hours on-line. A Licensee will be required to pass a final exam plus periodic exams through the on-line course.
