Massachusetts CSL Upcoming Changes

New Continuing Education Requirements (Effective: January 1, 2018):

Licensees may acquire up to a maximum of six hours of continuing education via on-line training. Remaining hours shall be acquired through in-person, classroom training. CSSL may complete all six hours on-line. A Licensee will be required to pass a final exam plus periodic exams through the on-line course.

 

What this means for you:

Anyone who’s CSL CE renewal cycle began in 2016 or 2017 AND has NOT yet completed continuing education for that cycle may register for the 12 or 10 hour online course through December 31, 2017. All courses must be completed by June 30, 2018.

Anyone who has already satisfied their current CSL CE requirement for a cycle beginning in 2016 or 2017, and their next renewal cycle begins in 2018 or later will have to take the 12 and 10 hour courses combination of on-line / in-class requirements.

All 12 and 10 hour courses taken after January 1, 2018 will be subject to the on-line / in-class requirements.

Please note: At-Leisure Contractor Licensing will be offering the full on-line / in-class hours to comply with new regulations as of January 1, 2018.
