Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in commercial construction, particularly in leading projects in the $5M - $40M range, possess exceptional leadership and communication skills, maintain a strong safety record with knowledge of OSHA regulations, and display reliability as a team player
  • Minimum of 5 years of construction management experience on commercial projects ranging from $1M to $40M
  • Current MA Construction Supervisors License
  • OSHA 30 certification is required
  • Thorough knowledge of current building and construction codes
  • Strong organizational, communication (both verbal and written), and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ProCore project management software

Responsibilities

  • This role involves on-site supervision and coordination of all operations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with engineers and subcontractors to assess project requirements
  • Establish performance goals and deadlines for project milestones
  • Plan and oversee construction processes efficiently
  • Manage project costs by monitoring employee hours and tracking changes
  • Supervise staff, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Continuously monitor and report on project progress
  • Organize inspections and secure construction permits from local authorities
  • Implement safety and quality assurance guidelines on site
  • Order necessary equipment and ensure regular maintenance schedules are followed
  • Keep an accurate inventory of material stock and manage orders
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly job site
  • Effectively resolve on-site issues and emergencies as they arise
