Qualifications

•Minimum 5 years of experience in private/public/residential housing projects, with expertise in scheduling, coordinating, and supervising trade crafts on construction sites

•Organized and systematic approach to work, with comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, activities, and related functions

•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal abilities to foster positive relationships with crew members and prioritize safety

•Possession of MA Supervisor Certification and OSHA 30 Certification is mandatory

•OSHA 30 (Required)

•Massachusetts Supervisor License (Required)

•Lenox, MA: Relocate before starting work (Required)

 

Responsibilities

•Oversee the construction of 14 buildings consisting of 65 housing units, ensuring seamless coordination and supervision of trade crafts on the construction site

•This pivotal role entails leading the project and overseeing site utility operations

•Direct the entire construction process to ensure adherence to design, budget, and schedule, while maintaining effective communication with owner representatives and contractors

•Develop work schedules, assess manpower requirements, and determine material and equipment needs

•Coordinate and supervise onsite activities, including scheduling, engineering, material management, and providing day-to-day guidance to onsite administrative staff if applicable

•Manage trade craft employees and contractors as stipulated in contracts

•Offer technical support, interpret drawings, and recommend construction methods and equipment as necessary

•Enforce onsite procedures, safety protocols, and work regulations, documenting any violations and implementing corrective actions as needed

•Assume accountability for craft productivity, material and equipment utilization efficiency, and contractual project performance

•Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor
