Qualifications
- Minimum of ten years relevant experience in the construction industry
- Thorough knowledge of the installation for structural steel, concrete footings, walls, columns, and slabs
- Experience in the supervision of major electrical and mechanical installations
- Understanding of Mass Building Code, industry standards, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Minimum of OSHA 30 certification
- Current Massachusetts Unrestricted Construction Supervisor's license
- Required to pass drug and background check
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work well in a team environment
- Committed to safety at all times
- Ability to use company designated software, construction management software (Procore) and e-mail on a daily basis
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Responsibilities
- Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely completion
- Perform quality control duties and responsibilities applicable to work being performed
- Ensure that all subcontractors are properly executing and complying with their contracted scope of work
- Coordinate all required inspections with local jurisdictions
- Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team
- Communicate with project team regarding RFI's and material submittals
- Perform job progress reports and identify punch list items
- Assist in the buyout of projects with an emphasis on carpentry, masonry, and structural steel
- Create and reinforce a culture of safety
