Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in carpentry and construction
- Valid Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License
- Valid Drivers License
- Experience managing projects independently
- Ability to manage multiple active projects without losing attention to detail
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to read plans, coordinate trades, and maintain schedules
- Strong field awareness and problem-solving ability
- Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously

Responsibilities
- The Construction Supervisor oversees high end residential projects typically ranging from $25,000–$500,000
- This is a hands-on, highly autonomous role responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction standards are consistently met
- You’ll work closely with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to keep projects moving efficiently from kickoff through closeout
- Manage multiple residential construction projects simultaneously
- Perform estimating and proposal preparation for smaller projects
- Coordinate schedules, subcontractors, inspections, and field activities
- Maintain strong communication with clients throughout each project
- Manage change orders, project documentation, and closeout processes
- Conduct site visits, quality control reviews, and proactive problem-solving
- Assist with light hands-on work when necessary, including basic carpentry, framing, or painting
- Protect project profitability through strong planning and cost control
- Representing Wellen Construction professionally on every jobsite
