Qualifications
•Applicants should possess a working knowledge of construction sites and procedures, including utilities
•Applicant should have the knowledge and ability to read plans
•Ability to work well with a team of subcontractors and a supervisor
•Position requires adequate transportation to work sites
•Position requires access to Cell Phone service that can be used to download an app for clock in/out and for business calls
•Position requires traveling up to a 60-mile radius from home address in order to take on active projects as assigned
•Minimum of 3 years of experience as a heavy equipment operator
•Knowledge of principles and practices of routine and preventative maintenance of heavy construction vehicles, and equipment
•Knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety practices
•Knowledge of safe load securing practices and rigging
•Understanding of hand signals
•Must have experience with pipe work, site grading, and mass excavation
•Applicant must be skilled and experienced at running the following: bulldozers, excavators, skid steers, dump trucks and have a valid hoisting license 2A or better
•Valid DOT medical card
•Driver's License (Required)
