Qualifications
- Proven experience operating excavators in a construction setting with a solid understanding of heavy equipment operation principles
- Mechanical knowledge of construction machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and Caterpillar equipment
- Valid commercial driver’s license with experience in operating heavy vehicles such as dump trucks or tanker trucks
- Strong familiarity with construction site safety practices and ability to adhere strictly to safety regulations
- Ability to read technical plans and interpret specifications accurately
- Construction site experience with knowledge of various machinery operations enhances efficiency on the job

- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Assist with the setup of construction sites by positioning machinery and preparing the ground for subsequent phases of development
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to interpret plans and execute tasks accurately according to specifications
- Utilize horizontal drilling equipment and tanker trucks when required for specialized tasks such as underground utilities or water management
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, equipment usage, and safety inspections for project documentation
