Qualifications
- Proficient in operating a wide range of heavy equipment, including roll off trucks, backhoes, front loader trucks, concrete mixers, and tankers
- Strong knowledge of equipment operation techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- MUST have a valid MA Hoisting license
- MUST be able to operate a loader and excavator
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Responsibilities
- POSITION SUMMARY: The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment at a recycling center, landfill or transfer station for the purpose of transferring, spreading, covering, loading and/or compacting waste or soil in an efficient and safe manner
- Operate various types of heavy equipment, including but not limited to roll off trucks, backhoes, front loader trucks, concrete mixers, and tankers
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment
- Transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
