Responsibilities
- Concrete installation and demolition
- Asphalt installation and parking lot preparation
- Full-scope site work, from lighting to drainage
- Curbing and paving
- Parking lot and catch basin repairs
- Position Overview
- The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating a variety of construction equipment to support utility installation, site development, concrete work, trenching, drainage, paving, and foundation projects
- Skid steers
- Other site-specific machinery
- Perform trenching for utility and drainage installations
- Assist with foundation and septic installations
- Execute site preparation, grading, and site clearing
- Support asphalt, curb, and concrete installation projects
- Perform parking lot prep and repair work
- Follow site plans, grade stakes, and layout markings
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Work collaboratively with foremen, laborers, and subcontractors
