Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment
- Valid Massachusetts 2A Hoisting License required
- Valid Driver’s License required
- OSHA 10 Certification required
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required at all times on job sites
- Ability to safely perform physically demanding work throughout the day
- Heavy equipment operation: 3 years (Required)

Responsibilities
- Full-Time, Year-Round Position
- Typical Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40–43 hours per week
- As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will play a key role in supporting heavy civil construction projects throughout the region
- This position involves operating a variety of heavy equipment, assisting with underground utility installation, and working alongside experienced crews to complete projects safely and efficiently
- Roadway and highway projects
- Operate excavators, bulldozers, loaders, skid steers, and other heavy equipment
- Perform deep utility excavation and trench work using trench boxes and excavation safety systems
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Work closely with crew members to meet daily project goals
- Maintain safe, organized, and efficient job sites
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with general labor tasks when needed
- Work is performed outdoors on active construction job sites in varying weather conditions
- Frequent climbing on and off equipment throughout the workday
- Ability to safely enter and exit trenches, excavation areas, and construction zones
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting required
- Ability to work safely around underground utilities, excavation operations, and heavy equipment
