Qualifications
- Employees should have demonstrated skill in operating specialized and heavy equipment including backhoe and loader
- Working knowledge of the materials and techniques required for wastewater collection maintenance and to perform heavy manual labor under varying weather conditions
- Possession of a MA CDL motor vehicle operator’s license required
- Must possess and maintain a MA Hoisting Engineer’s license required
Benefits
- PAY RANGE: $24.94-$31.60 PER HOUR
Responsibilities
- FULL-TIME (37 HOURS PER WEEK)
- Working under the direct supervision of the Foreman, performs skilled manual work in the operation of Public Works equipment of substantial weight and complexity for all wastewater department projects; all other related work as required
- Required to work beyond and/or before normal shift hours during snow and ice operations and other emergencies
