Qualifications
- CDL (Class A) required
- Must be able to drive manual
- Hoisting and/or Excavating license required (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities
- Our Operators carefully and safely operate trucks and heavy equipment including, but not limited to, Boom Truck, back hoes, skid steers, front-end loaders with forks, and excavators
- Additional operation of railroad equipment (tie inserter, regulator, etc.) will be required; on-the-job training for railroad equipment will be provided
- When not operating; this person may be expected to assist as a Railroad Track Laborer; which is a physically demanding job
- Hours: Full-time, mainly Monday thru Friday, but some weekends; eligible for overtime
- Operate trucks and heavy equipment including, but not limited to, back hoes, skid steers, front-end loaders with forks, and excavators, and railroad equipment (tie inserter, regulator, etc.); on-the-job training will be provided
- Work around all types of moving equipment
- Perform manual labor as required
- Ensure compliance with all railroad rules and regulations for safety, operations, NORAC, Employee Handbook, procedures, and the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA)
- Perform routine preventative maintenance of equipment
- Assist with the troubleshooting of equipment malfunctions
- Assist with the development of improved and new field methods and equipment
- Other duties as assigned
