Responsibilities
•As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you play a critical role in helping us successfully complete infrastructure projects, including roadwork, highways, bridges, airports, and site work
•You are contributing in a variety of construction project work involving paving, excavation, curbing, and trenching
•Using strong problem solving abilities and with strict attention to detail, you operate heavy machinery with precision, keeping up with the fast flow of construction operations
•Day-to-day responsibilities may include performing earthwork, demolition, environmental, paving, utility and alternate energy site work, including site grading, road construction, road improvements, drainage installation, drainage improvements, road maintenance, concrete curbs, excavation and backfill, utilities and any other necessary civil improvements
•You may operate various equipment including asphalt paver, roller, vibratory roller, crawler and rubber tire excavator, backhoe, bulldozer, loader, front end loaders, skid steer, grader, milling machine
•Typical work days begin around 7:00 am and finished by 5:00 pm
