Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a heavy equipment operator
- Knowledge of operation and maintenance of a variety of heavy construction vehicles and equipment
- Knowledge of principles and practices of routine and preventative maintenance of heavy construction vehicles and equipment
- Knowledge of principles and procedures of documentation and record-keeping including operators' books
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety practices
- Understanding of hand signals
- State licensing may be required depending upon the state
- Must hold a Massachusetts and Connecticut hoisting license
Benefits
- The compensation range for this position is $39 - $47 and is exclusive of any other benefit and/or bonus
Responsibilities
- Safe operation of a variety of heavy construction vehicles and equipment
- Responsible for daily inspection of equipment and performing basic repair and maintenance as needed to ensure the safe working condition of all equipment
- Read and understand various types of load charts
- Maintain a clean work environment
