Qualifications

•Valid Massachusetts Electrical License

•High school diploma or equivalent

•Strong technical knowledge of solar energy systems and electrical components

•Comfort working at heights and in outdoor environments

•Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

•Ability to travel to job sites around the state of Massachusetts

•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team

•Good communication and customer service skills

•Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

 

Responsibilities

•As a Solar Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar energy systems, including solar panels, inverters, and other electrical components

•You will be expected to work on a variety of projects, ranging from commercial roof-top to utility-scale ground-mounts, and battery energy storage installations, and must be comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments

•Perform electrical wiring, conduit runs, and other electrical work as required

•Test and troubleshoot solar energy systems to ensure optimal performance

•Operate hand and power tools, as well as specialized equipment such as torque wrenches and multimeters

•Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with relevant codes and standards

•Provide on-site support and guidance to other team members as needed

•Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time spent and materials used

•Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay current on best practices and new technologies in the field
