Responsibilities
- The Journeyman Plumber will perform skilled plumbing work on commercial projects, working independently or alongside foremen to complete installations, maintenance, and service work safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes
- This is a hands-on role for a licensed professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and jobsite accountability
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Install water, waste, and vent piping systems
- Set fixtures, valves, and plumbing components
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and other trades
- Support apprentices through on-the-job guidance and mentorship
