Responsibilities
- This role is sales-driven first, with plumbing expertise used to diagnose issues, present solutions, and convert opportunities into revenue
- Identify opportunities, educate customers, and close plumbing jobs on-site
- Build trust and deliver a premium customer experience
- Maximize ticket value through proper system recommendations and upgrades
- Teachable and eager to learn sales
- Diagnose plumbing issues and present clear, professional solutions to customers
- Provide on-site estimates and close sales during service calls
- Recommend system upgrades, replacements, and improvements when needed
- Perform plumbing work including installations, repairs, and maintenance (as needed)
- Install and service fixtures such as water heaters, sinks, toilets, showers, and piping systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, plumbing drawings, and system layouts
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety standards
- Complete work orders, invoices, and service reports accurately
- Communicate clearly with clients, office staff, and project managers
- Maintain company tools, vehicle, and a clean professional appearance
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, waste, and vent (DWV) systems
- Install and service fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers, tubs, water heaters, and related components
- Perform system start-up, testing, and inspections to ensure proper operation and code compliance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues (leaks, clogs, pressure problems, etc.) and perform necessary repairs
- Read and interpret blueprints, plumbing drawings, and piping schematics
- Execute rough-in and finish plumbing for residential and commercial projects
- Perform preventative maintenance and system checks
- Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately and on time
- Communicate clearly with clients, supervisors, and project managers
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures at job sites
- Maintain and properly use company tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Collaborate with team members and assist in mentoring apprentices when needed
