Qualifications
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Valid CDL class A license, 2A, 1C
- hoisting license or as required by DOT regulation for applicable
- equipment or the ability to obtain necessary licenses within six months
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Two years'
- Experience In Related Paid Full-time Work
- Considerable knowledge of hazardous and safety precautions in operating
- equipment in this class
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- frequently of a technical nature
- Ability to work courteously and
- harmoniously with co-employees, supervisors and the public
- skill in the operation of backhoes and loaders as used in road
- Demonstrated skill in the use of equipment and
- PHYSICAL, MOTOR, AND VISUAL SKILLS Physical Skills A significant
- portion of the day is spent standing and bending
- Frequent climbing,
- stooping, kneeling, and crouching
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing,
- pulling of objects weighing up to approximately 50 lbs. 95% of work
- performed is outside in varying degrees of temperature
- Visual demands require routinely reading documents and operate motor
Responsibilities
- AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Operating specialized heavy motor equipment on an

- operation of heavy specialized and frequently complex construction and
- maintenance equipment requiring considerable manipulative skill
- SUPERVISION: Work is performed under general supervision in accordance
- with all Massachusetts and Department of Transportation rules and

- adjustments and repairs
